Message from the President

Thank you for visiting our home page.
Our company was founded in December 1954. Ever since, our company has experienced various changes, changing our company name to COSMO KAIUN Co., Ltd. after Cosmo Oil Co., Ltd. was inaugurated in 1986.

As the coastal shipping company of Cosmo Energy Group, we take responsibility for marine transportation of various petroleum products. Moreover, our company is also responsible for the shipping agency of coasting vessels and ocean-going vessels, cargo handling, and patrolling in Cosmo Oil Yokkaichi Refinery.
Our mission is "safe transportation and handling" and "establishing trust with customers" with consideration for environmental concerns. Therefore, we are certified in international ship safety management system (ISM Code) and all our employees have a keen awareness of safe navigation and environmental conservation.

Coastal shipping will continue to be an important responsibility for the Japanese economy.
Under our corporate philosophy, contributing to society through marine transportation, we constantly strive to improve our work even further while accommodating environmental changes.
